PANEER BUTTER MASALA RECIPES/ PANEER MASALA RECIPES preparation with step by step photos and quick video. Paneer butter masala is one of the most famous dish in India and its available in Punjabi restaurants and Dhaba. Paneer is a rich source of protein and calcium. In this procedure , i haven’t fried the paneer to keep it soft and fresh cubes. Adding to that , i have used the boiled onions and tomatoes to remove the raw smell of those ingredients. I have used Kashmiri red chili power and kashmiri dried red chilli enhance the color of the dish instead of using the artificial colors.

Ingredients
  • For masala paste:
  • Onion - 3 large sized(roughly chopped)
  • Tomato - 3 large sized(roughly chopped)
  • Ginger - garlic paste -1 tsp
  • Whole cashews -15
  • Other ingredients:
  • Unsalted butter - 2 tbsp
  • Jeera (cumin) or shahi jeera - 1 tsp
  • Bay leaf -1
  • Cardamom - 2 (Green, Black)
  • Kashmiri chili powder / lal mirch powder - 1 tbsp
  • Garam masala- 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder (Jeera) -1/2 tsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • Cream( full cream )- 3 tbsp
  • Kasuri methi / dry fenugreek leaves - 1 tsp
  • Paneer / cottage cheese
  • Green chilies-2
  • Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
Directions
  • Step 1 Boil the water and add roughly chopped onion .Boil for 5 minutes and drain the water. keep it aside .
  • Step 2 Boil the water and add roughly chopped tomato .Boil for 5 minutes and drain the water. keep it aside.
  • Step 3 Add whole cashews with boiled onion and tomato , graind the paste . keep it aside .
  • Step 4 Take the pan and add unsalted butter 2 tbsp
  • Step 5 Add cumin seeds or (shahi jeera), bay leaf, cardamom(Black,Green),kashmiri dried red chilli and saute well
  • Step 6 Add Ginger garlic paste and saute well
  • Step 7 Add onion – tomato – cashews paste and saute well
  • Step 8 Add red chili powder, garam masala powder, jeera powder,salt and saute well
  • Step 9 Cover the lid cook for 10 minutes in low flame
  • Step 10 Add the water to adjust the consistency
  • Step 11 Add paneer cubes and mix it well
  • Step 12 Add kasuri methi
  • Step 13 Add slit green chilies
  • Step 14 Add full cream and saute well
  • Step 15 cover the lid cook for 5 minutes in low flame
  • Step 16 Add coriander leaves and mix it well
  • Step 17 Paneer butter masala is ready to serve with roti,chapati and rice

MAKING OF PANEER BUTTER MASALA RECIPES/ PANEER MASALA RECIPES:

 

  1. Boil the water and add roughly chopped onion .Boil for 5 minutes and drain the water. keep it saide .

9. Cover the lid cook for 10 minutes in low flame
