Potato Cheese Balls | How to Make Cheesy Potato Balls preparation with step-by-step photos and a quick video.

Ingredients
  • Boiled potatoes (medium size) -3
  • Onion-1,chopped
  • Green capsicum-½,chopped
  • Coriander chopped-2 tbsp
  • Green chillies-1
  • Salt to taste
  • Mixed herbs -½ tsp
  • Red chilli flakes-½ tsp
  • Crushed black pepper-½ tsp
  • Grated cheese (processed or mozzarella)-¼ cup
  • Mozzarella cheese -¼ cup
  • Bread crumbs-1 cup
  • Corn flour-2 tbsp
  • Maida - 2 tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • Oil for frying
Directions
  • Step 1 Take a large bowl add boiled potatoes.
  • Step 2 Now add chopped onion
  • Step 3 Add capsicum
  • Step 4 Add fresh coriander
  • Step 5 Add green chillies
  • Step 6 Add salt to taste
  • Step 7 Add mixed herbs
  • Step 8 Add red chilli flakes
  • Step 9 Add grated cheese and mix till everything is well combined.
  • Step 10 Add crushed black pepper and mix it well
  • Step 11 Take a small bowl and add cornflour
  • Step 12 Add maida
  • Step 13 Add water and mix it well. Keep it aside
  • Step 14 Take a tablespoon of potato cheese ball mixture in your palm and give it a round shape.
  • Step 15 Now with your thumb give an impression in the centre and insert it with a mozzarella cheese cube.
  • Step 16 Cover the cheese cube properly from everywhere and give it a round shape.
  • Step 17 Dip into the cornflour slurry.
  • Step 18 Roll into breadcrumbs and coat all the sides.
  • Step 19 Dip the coated potato cheese ball again into cornflour slurry and coat with breadcrumbs (double coating)
  • Step 20 Similarly, make the rest of them and let them rest in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
  • Step 21 Drop each coated potato cheese ball into the medium hot oil
  • Step 22 Fry them for 3-4 minutes on medium flame, till they get a golden crust.
  • Step 23 Serve immediately with ketchup or garam-garam chai/tea.
