Oatmeal Raisin Walnut Cookies | Homemade Cookies preparation with step by step photos and a quick video.

Ingredients
  • Butter-½ cup
  • Instant Oatmeal / Quick Cooking Oats- 1 ½ cup
  • Brown Sugar -½ cup
  • Egg - 1
  • Vanilla Extract -1 tsp
  • Maida (all Purpose Flour )-¾ th cup
  • Baking soda -½ tsp
  • Cinnamon powder- ½ tsp
  • salt -¼ th tsp
  • Raisins - ¾ th cup
  • Walnuts- ½ cup
Directions
  • Step 1 Pre-heat oven to 180 degree Celcius. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and keep it aside.
  • Step 2 Take a large mixing bowl and add butter
  • Step 3 Add sugar
  • Step 4 Add brown sugar and mix it well
  • Step 5 Add egg and mix it well
  • Step 6 Add baking soda
  • Step 7 Add cardamom powder
  • Step 8 Add salt and mix it well
  • Step 9 Add Instant Oatmeal / Quick Cooking Oats
  • Step 10 Add Maida (all Purpose Flour )
  • Step 11 Add chopped walnuts
  • Step 12 Add Raisins and mix it well
  • Step 13 Cover and let the dough rest for 1 hour.
  • Step 14 Pinch a ball sized dough roll and flatten slightly.
  • Step 15 Transfer cookies to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Step 16 Preheat and bake at 180-degree celsius for 15 minutes.
  • Step 17 The cookie will be very soft initially. Let it cool completely. The oatmeal cookie will turn crisp and crunchy.
  • Step 18 Store the oat cookies in an airtight container and enjoy the covid19 lockdown period at home.

11. Add Raisins and mix it well

12. Cover and let the dough rest for 1 hour.

13. Pinch a ball sized dough roll and flatten slightly.

14. Transfer cookies to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.Preheat and bake at 180-degree celsius for 15 minutes.
