Ingredients
  • Puffed rice/ Pori/Murmura -2 cups
  • Moor milagai(Sun Dried Chillies) - 4
  • Peanuts- 3 tbsp , roasted
  • Fried gram(Pottukadalai) - 3 tbsp
  • Curry leaves -few
  • Turmeric powder- ½ tsp
  • Sambar powder - 2 tsp
  • Hing - a generous pinch
  • Garlic pods- 5
  • Oil-2 tbsp
  • Salt - to taste
Directions
  • Step 1 Take a pan and add oil
  • Step 2 Add mustard seed
  • Step 3 Add cumin seed and let it splutter
  • Step 4 Add moor milagai(Sun Dried Chillies) and saute it well
  • Step 5 Add curry leaves
  • Step 6 Add crushed garlic and saute it well
  • Step 7 Add turmeric powder
  • Step 8 Add asafoetida(hing)
  • Step 9 Add sambar powder and saute it for a minute
  • Step 10 Add fried gram(Pottukadalai)
  • Step 11 Add roasted peanuts and saute it well
  • Step 12 Add puffed rice/ pori/murmura and mix it well until spices coated well
  • Step 13 Crunchy guilt free snack is ready to serve
